2015 – Year in Review

2015 was certainly a busy year for Express Clear Solutions, with additions made both to our staff and to our fleet of tankers – not to mention a number of new ventures.

Personnel and Company Updates

One of these ventures, the introduction of our specialist Commercial Gas department headed up by Patrick Teeling, covers all of our works within this area, and this coincides with ECS becoming a registered Gas Safe company.

Always keen to improve our skills and service, the Express Drainage engineers have spent 2015 undertaking various training courses to refresh and develop their knowledge within the drainage and plumbing industry.

These include:

  • Monthly talk box talks
  • Medium Risk Confined Spaces training
  • IPAF training for operating MEWPS
  • CH4 Gas Safe training
  • 360 tracked excavator/swivel & forward tipping dumper
  • Health, Safety & Environmental for Managers and Professionals

 Equipment Additions

Tankers

Our equipment and plant has expanded throughout the year, simultaneously expanding our capabilities and the quality of service we can provide to our customers. We have added a cherry picker to enable us to undertake works at height, as well as a CCTV camera crawler unit to perform surveys of 225mm and above pipework.

The ECS vehicle fleet has also seen additions, with the inclusion of a new combination tanker allowing us to carry out larger jobs within Yorkshire and the surrounding counties.

Customer Feedback

During our very busy year, we have taken the time to review customer feedback, ensuring that all customers are provided with an outstanding service at all times. Below are a few examples of the feedback we have received from our customers in 2015.

2015 ended with Express Clear Solutions supplying our vehicle in Hampton Hill High Street’s Christmas Parade. Our engineer got into the Christmas spirit, dressing up as an elf and following Santa along the high street with a band on the back of the tipper!

Now to start a busy 2016…
